Publications

Over the past year Bathsheba Arts has been focused on getting as much exposure through art magazines.
I have added some ideas of how to leverage the exposure gained through press of publications.
My top 5 tips
1. Promote the Feature on Your Platforms
Social Media: Always Share high-quality images or scans of the article on all your social media platforms. Include engaging captions that express gratitude and highlight the significance of the feature.
Website Updates: Add the article to a dedicated press or news section on your website. If possible, link directly to the publication’s website to add credibility.
Newsletter Announcements: Inform your mailing list about the feature. Share a snippet of the article and encourage readers to check out the full piece.
2. Create Content Around the Feature
Behind-the-Scenes Stories: Share how the article came about—whether it’s your creative journey, the interview process, or the photoshoot. This adds depth and engages your audience further.
Video Content: Record a short video talking about the feature and what it means to you. This personal touch can resonate with your followers.
3. Engage the Magazine’s Audience
Interact with the Publication: Tag the magazine, editors, and photographers in your posts. Engage with their content by commenting and sharing, which can lead to further visibility among their followers.
Collaborate with the Community: If the magazine feature highlights other artists, connect with them. Networking within this community can open doors to collaborations and new opportunities.
4. Turn the Spotlight into Sales
Limited-Edition Artworks: Consider launching limited-edition pieces or prints inspired by the feature. Use the article as a promotional hook for these releases.
Call-to-Action: Direct readers to explore your work further by linking to your shop, upcoming exhibitions, or commissions page in every promotional post.
5. Repurpose the Feature Over Time
Throwback Posts: Revisit the feature in future social media posts, especially during milestones like anniversaries or new project launches.

A magazine feature is more than a moment in the spotlight—it’s a tool to build credibility, grow your audience, and create lasting value. By leveraging it strategically, you can amplify its impact and ensure your artistic voice continues to reach new audiences. Remember, the feature is just the beginning; what you do next will define its legacy.
